Dr. Mike began his career as a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology, gaining extensive experience in human genetics. His residency in Internal Medicine was completed at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, where he later served as Chief of Medical Services and Director of Emergency Medicine at Hill AFB Hospital in Utah.
He returned to San Antonio for Fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology at UTHSC-SA, and worked as a Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician in the Baptist Hospital system while building a thriving allergy practice.
Dr. Mike began offering Medical Genetics services in 2023 and has since developed a passion for preventive medicine. He believes the concierge model is the only way human genetics can be effectively incorporated into preventive care planning — and he has chosen to evolve his practice to meet that challenge.
